We totally enjoyed our stay. Home was in a private location with beautiful scenery. Steven was very quick to respond on a Sunday morning to a concern/question that came up and gave us an answer right away. The Christmas decor made for a cozy warm at home feeling. Plenty of space to spread out but also comfortable areas for all to be together. It all made for a great getaway!

We had a blast staying in Steven's Cabin. It was secluded by the creek, where all you would hear is nature. With Small children there was plenty for them to do, they especially enjoyed being able to get in the hot tub. If we had any questions, Steven was a text away and would respond within a few minutes with the answer. He also had a great guide that he sent over with recommendations for the area. I would book with Steven again.

Woodhaven is a lovely spot. The property is adequately furnished. The snack box on arrival was a nice touch. If you want a place away from it all, this is it! There is lots to do in the area. Beds are on the soft side and laundry is heavily scented.

I take my six grandchildren for a week every summer for camp. This was our 3rd year in the Blue Ridge mountains but in a different cabin each year. The space in the Woodhaven cabin was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked which pleased me, since I prepare all the meals. We only out one time for dinner. We loved the screen porch! My only recommendation would be to clean/pressure wash) the outside front steps, porch, and chairs. My immediate thought was, “I hope the inside is clean, because the outside is filthy.” The back steps to the river were even worse. The inside cleanliness was adequate. Carol

Just needed a long weekend for a change of scenery. My mom was visiting from out of state so we decided to head to the mountains! This cabin has plenty of room for a romantic getaway, family vacations, or a friends’ trip. Huge screened in porch overlooking a stream, covered hot tub with outdoor fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and a Google smart home system that was a nice touch! Comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms, deck down by the stream, and just birds and trees around you. About 18 minutes outside of Blue Ridge proper, so up away from the noise while still close enough to go have fun in town. I can’t say enough about the property owner who was so responsive and really thought of just about everything to ensure a relaxing, comfortable stay. Would definitely rent again!

Great place to come see the sights or just hang out and enjoy all the cabin has to offer. We loved sitting on porches listening to the birds and watching the deer and squirrels feed. This was our family‘s first visit to Blue Ridge, Georgia. We were so excited to stay in such a beautiful cabin. We love doing things off the beaten path and this cabin had everything it needed to make the experience wonderful. We love the quietness of nature and all the cabin had to offer. The drive to Blue Ridge was very close and beautiful. We enjoyed hiking, downtown Blue Ridge, the scenic train, and the hot tub.. the cabin has everything that you need. Our family of five felt that it was extremely clean and well taken care of the entire time. We loved all the games and extra things like books, video games, DVDs. All of it made our experience, very cozy and memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The owner was very good to communicate with. I was able to cook every meal during our stay because the kitchen was fully equipped. If cooking is not your interest then there are many restaurants to choose from nearby. For those that are challenged walking as I am, there are many steps down to the creek but I could still hear it from the top. We loved spending time by the hot tub and outside fireplace. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit at WoodHaven with family and friends. We had a little bit of trouble keeping the pilot lit but luckily 2 of our guys were plumbers for years and could troubleshoot, and the owners were very responsive to any of our questions. Very lovely stay!

We went for the Christmas Holiday and I cannot even put into words how beautiful the place was decorated! It was Christmas on every floor! Warm throws were everywhere for you to cuddle on a couch or keep warm on one of many rockers on the multiple porches. The stars were spectacular! We were in awe. The house was beautiful and just as the pictures shown. We did not get into the hot tub because it was a little cold for us FL bloods, but it was right in front of a wood burning fireplace! We saw 3 deer on the ridge at dusk one night. The beds are very comfortable!! If you want to just relax, this is it, and know you are just 15 minutes from beautiful Blue Ridge with great shopping and eating. We really enjoyed this house and look forward to coming back in the summer months!

This is a very well equipped property with plenty of room and many amenities. Super peaceful. Comfortable and as described. All outdoor spaces were amazing spots for a slow morning or relaxing evening. What a treat to enjoy the hot tub in front of a fire! The teens enjoyed their own space downstairs but plenty of room upstairs for all of us to enjoy dinner and games.

My husband and I couldn't have had a more perfect week here. The cabin is amazing, secluded yet within a reasonable driving distance to so many things. The cabin itself had everything we needed. I didnt cook anything except for breakfast because we wanted to try different restaurants but I was surprised to find the wide selection of kitchen necessities that I did (spices, pot/pan selections, crockpot, casserole dishes). We also really appreciated the fact that there was an actual coffee pot and not just one that used pods, although there is that option as well. We loved sitting on the deck listening to the river and to the random sounds of nature. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. The way the cabin is laid out, with bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas on each floor, it would make a fabulous location for a family retreat. We absolutely loved it here and would not hesitate to book again.

This house and location are exceptional. The house had several beautiful outdoor living areas - three porches, a balcony, and an incredible deck with hot tub and fireplace. The walk down to the mountain stream was just beautiful. The interior of the house was just as wonderful. There was plenty of space to spread out, with a separate game room for a little bit of fun. Beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets, and the place was perfectly clean. The location of the property was perfect. Very secluded and quiet, with just a short drive into Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and McCaysville. The owner was very responsive and kind. Can't say enough good things about this property! We will be back!

The cabin was amazing, clean, and very spacious. I went alone and it was way more than I could have asked for. Everything I needed was there, kitchen stocked with all kinds of dishes/cups, utentsils, pots/pans etc. You can just relax and listen to the creek from any of the outside spaces. The setup at this cabin was perfect for us. Three levels with bedroom, bathroom and living space for each. The FULLY equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare complete meals to share and have family time. There is comfortable furniture everywhere. It's not only in the three separate living spaces but on the porches, also. We picked up a bag of deer corn for the feeder and enjoyed watching deer every day. Anywhere from 2 to 8 at a time. (at dawn and dusk) The temperatures during our stay were mid 40s (day) and low 20s (night). The fireplaces were wonderful to have during our cold visit. Along with the interior gas fireplaces, the wood burning one by the hot tub was great. We soaked while the flames flickered, then had the warmth of the fire when getting out in 30° temps. During our stay, I had a question about equipment operations and the host responded quickly and was extremely helpful.Something that may be a concern for some. The road in has a steep gravel section. Our vehicle had no problems but it is something to be aware.

My wife and I come to North Georgia annually for our anniversary or birthdays and always chose to stay in a cabin, however they always seem to be a bit far from the towns in the surrounding area, not the case with Woodhaven! it literally take a few minutes and you are in downtown Blue Ridge which is one of our favorite places as the tend to have some of the best restaurants. The cabin was extremely clean, easiest checkin process, the hot tub in front of the outdoor fireplace was awesome along with the deer feeder down by the creek.The cabin utilizes google which made it extremely easy to turn on and off lights along with controlling the AC. The cabin is extremely well maintained and felt very new! Just a wonderful experience all around.

This was the perfect house for a relaxing getaway with our group of 10, including kids of multiple ages! There was really something for everyone to do and plenty of space to do it in. The kids loved the variety of games and the adults appreciated the peaceful screened porch. Special touches throughout the house made it warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was an abundance of amenities like soap, toilet paper, and more. The host was very accommodating and easy to contact. Although we had planned on doing several activities in the area, there was plenty of things to do at the house and we ended up spending most of our time just relaxing and enjoying family time.

Ours kids loved the stay we had. The deer everyday, the hot tub, and the outdoor fireplace were all main attractions for them, as well as , the large televisions with satellite just like we have at home (so there was no finding channels or signing into streaming services like we’ve had to do in the past). We will definitely keep WoodHaven in mind the next time we stay in North Georgia.

The stream was a daily must and the rain left it full and fun to play in. Spent the day at Blueridge Lake boating and exploring, it was well worth the time! We choose this cabin for closeness to family we came to visit, number of beds for the kids to spread out and cabin amenities that met everyone’s needs. Not to mention the creek and wildlife. It was great all around! Steve was quick to respond during booking process, with directions prior to stay and with any questions/needs during our stay. As a mom of 4 during COVID I would have liked to see a bit more thorough cleaning throughout (under beds, etc) but not terrible. Plenty of appliances, supplies, towels. Laundry room was great and I really appreciated the more than complete guidelines sent for using everything in the cabin. Hot tub was soooo perfect w fireplace. Exactly what we needed! Had a great time! Smart Home was very useful for the adults and entertaining for the kids. Deer feeder brought in 3 deer at one point. Hot Tub was excellent and was ready to use when we got there. Had a minor issue, but contacted the owner and he got someone out to fix it. Mercier Orchards nearby is worth stopping at too and had some great treats! Highly recommend!

This cabin is perfect in so many ways. We had 8 people in our group and we were all so comfortable during our stay. Check-in was easy and the cabin had the perfect size table and living spaces so we could all eat and hang out together. Our stay at WoodHaven was absolutely amazing! The owners attention to detail all throughout the cabin made for such a WOW factor, which included Google home throughout the house. Also charging ports by each bed. Everything being labeled made us at ease not wondering where items were. The kitchen was generously equipped. Very spacious and clean rooms. The entire cabin was perfectly decorated to give you that warm cozy cabin feel. The outside amenities were beyond expectations, each level of the house included its own private deck. The covered hot tub by the fireplace made for the perfect, relaxing, evening outside. The owner was readily available for any questions before or during our stay. We are already planning our next trip back to this beautiful cabin!
