We stayed there this fall. It is amazing! It has everything you could need and more. It’s conveniently located in town. We loved the hot tub and the game room. This is one of the most amazing places you can stay with your family and friends! They even had fresh flowers and a charcuterie waiting for us! Next level! A block from the Main Street downtown. We walked everywhere. It was so luxurious and convenient. Will definitely be coming back!

This home was the perfect setting for our three-day work retreat. Each bedroom included a private bathroom, providing everyone with personal space while still offering plenty of inviting areas for co-working throughout the day. The large, modern kitchen, cinema room, hot tub, and sauna made our stay both productive and relaxing. The reservation process was seamless, and the owners/property managers were responsive, professional, and attentive to every detail. This experience far surpassed the typical “vacation rental”—it’s clear the homeowners truly understand how to make guests feel comfortable and at home. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the best of Breckenridge.

This was the best rental property my guests and I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had amazing appliances (latte making coffee machine, massive stovetop, big refrigerator, pebble ice machine) and was stocked with spices and any kind of dishes/cups/plates/utensils you could need. Each bedroom had a clean, beautifully designed bathroom with shower toiletries, hair driers, and robes provided. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We loved the sauna and the outdoor space with the fire pit. We were obsessed with the small details - newspapers found in the walls from the 1800s, QR codes describing the history, a cozy couch in the basement with a projector to watch TV. I could go on and on. Will be booking this again and recommending to everyone I know.

I book large homes a couple times a year and this is far and away the most well-appointed home I have booked. It is true to the pictures/description/location, but more than that the details are so well thought out that it creates a different vacation experience than any other home I have booked. All the drawers and cabinets are labeled and full of anything you might need. The steam room and sauna actually work, the Traeger has backup pellets, the coffee maker is full of coffee and allows anyone to make a custom cup in just seconds. There are trash bags, and condiments, and spices, and dish soap, and nice towels, and good knives, and ice makers that never run out, and comfortable furniture, and sonos speakers, and instructions on how to use everything, etc, etc, etc. This list just scratches the surface on everything that is provided, it really is different than any other house you are considering. It is clear the owners took pride in this home, it will exceed your expectations.

This was the most amazing rental property any of our family have ever stayed at! Cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were great. We hosted a small family dinner for our elopement and the main level was the most amazing space for hosting. We had a chef come cook us a meal and she said it was one of the best kitchens she had ever cooked in! We hope to come back again one day.

The Brown was perfect for our group. They’ve done a wonderful job renovating the hotel and it was a delight to explore all the generous amenities. Pebble ice machine and Jura and traeger grill were fan favorites. Thanks for sharing this home with us. The ghost was very friendly.

We were absolutely blown away with this property! It looks exactly like the pictures, the amenities are new, in excellent condition and everything worked flawlessly due to the communication efforts and instructional videos. We had an intimate wedding celebration and were able to host our dearest friends and family comfortably. I would consider myself so lucky to get to stay at this property again.

We have stayed in several VRBO homes but this by far was the most comfortable and well appointed home our family has experienced! The owner and his house manager went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect! Incredibly convenient location! We had car trouble and they even loaned us a vehicle! From the easy communications, to the unbelievable amenities (sauna, spa, hot tub, comfortable beds, poker chips and table, video games, boot warmer and 100 more I could mention) to the ridiculously convenient location, the Historic Brown is simply one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in (ski town or otherwise). Enjoyed so much, I have booked for next year already! A special, gorgeously renovated home that is perfect for any group.

First of all, this entire house was amazing. We very comfortably slept 15 people (8 parents with 7 late teenage boys) in this house with room to spare. The house has four levels to spread out so we never felt like we were crowded at all. The main floor is very spacious and all appliances are high-end. They have thought of everything in this place! There are so many nice additions the owners provide that most VRBO rentals do not (ie. tons of Charmin toilet paper, extra paper towels, tissues, trash bags, dish soap, lots of spices in the spice rack, etc.). Having three sets of washers and dryers was so great to have with so many people. The ski locker room was very spacious and SO NICE to have to store all of our ski stuff. The boys absolutely loved the game room/theater in the basement, poker table and the sauna/steam rooms. The owners truly did a fantastic job including everything you could possibly need (and more) in this house! We all would definitely stay here again....and the history of the house is very interesting too!!!

We booked this home for the location, amenities and number of families that could stay in it together. It was absolutely perfect in the proximity to town and the number of bedrooms we needed. We enjoyed the main level where all the family could have a meal together, cook together and watch tv together. The kids loved the basement area and the games! The outdoor space was incredible with the snow falling each day and the hot tub was awesome to come home to after a long day skiing. Knowing the history of this location and the ability to be able to be in town in 3 minutes was great! We loved the home and can't wait to come back! The owner did a great job with the finishes - very high end. We can't wait to see you next year!

"Wow" is all I can say!<br/>We had a friends reunion in Breck and feel so lucky to have found this house. The Brown is so comfortable, no detail was overlooked. We enjoyed the modern-historic feel and the unique design in each space. And there's a Tesla/EV charger at the house!<br/>There was plenty of space for us to spread out and a great living area for us to come together. The location in Breck couldn't be more perfect, we were a 2 minute walk to Main St in downtown and a 5 minute walk to the gondola. <br/>Breck is such a great town to walk around, but we almost didn't want to leave the house. Between the sauna, hot tub, and game room, we kept ourselves busy the whole stay. We really appreciated being able to send the kids to play in the game room downstairs so that us adults could catch up.<br/>I'm so excited to come back again during ski season, this is the perfect home base for any group trip!

Our stay at the Brown was simply amazing. It is such a gorgeous, comfortable, and luxurious home. The amenities were absolutely top notch! The sauna is amazing and coming home to the beautiful hot tub after a day of exploring was just perfection. The kitchen is so beautiful, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. I also love that every bedroom has its own unique design. They are all gorgeous and come with their own personality. I feel like not one detail was forgotten in this home - from the amazing fluffy robes down to the l'occitane toiletries. The kids also loved the game room and spent every night down there entertaining themselves! The location is great for exploring and so easily walkable. I truly don’t think we could have asked for anything more from this beautiful home or the lovely owners. The Brown is the perfect vacation home that we can’t wait to come back to!

Words cannot describe the beauty and comfort of this totally renovated home. It is so awesome to stay in a place you know has original components from the mid-1800’s, but all the modern amenities of the 2020’s! The owners have done and thought of everything, from the oxygen enhanced system, making your sleeping seamless when coming up to altitude, to the tiny details of brass plates tagging the drawers in the kitchen so you know where everything you could possibly need, is located. We were one of their first guests, and they could not have been more helpful or welcoming! We loved being able to walk into town in two minutes!

We had an amazing time at the Brown! We had kids in our group and it was so nice to be right next to the park and just a block or so to Downtown. We have been to Breck multiple times and it was awesome to be downtown and not worry about parking or traffic - the whole trip just felt easier because of that. The house was so spacious and the private rooms/bathrooms were perfect for our group. The oxygen system in the master bedroom was also unique and helpful - A few of our guests really depended on this during the stay as they came up from sea level. We loved the sauna and steam room and also used the hot tub several times. The great room was fun because the whole group was able to hang out together the whole time which felt more connected. The elevator was convenient (especially between bedrooms and the sauna) and the kids loved using it. The game room was a hit, and the wall projector made for an epic movie night. This property exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!
